Vendors include Jamie Kennedy Kitchen with their signature poutine with braised beef and aged cheddar, Caplansky’s Thunderin’ Thelma Food Truck with Caplansky’s signature deli foods (next appearance on July 14; see link for schedule details), Bagel House (hand-rolled, boiled in honey water, and baked in maple-fueled wood oven), local farmers (Murray’s Farm) and LOTS of local food producers – stay tuned for more details as EBW plans to showcase much more from the Quebec & Niagara regions!

GE Café Chefs Series – Masters of Food at Evergreen Brick Works, July 9.  6pm-9pm.  550 Bayview Ave.  $75 each workshop, $420 for 6 workshops, save $30.  Learn tips and techniques from Toronto chefs, discuss and explore food issues over wine and a great meal with other participants!  Funds raised through the series will help support children’s educational food programs at Evergreen Brick Works.

In this class, delve into the “Past, Present and Future of Canadian Cuisine” with Chef John Higgins for an evening of great food, and wine from Cave Spring Cellars from Jordan, Ontario and a look at how our communal engagement with food generation after generation strengthens the local food economy.
