Crème Fraiche Market Café, year-round.  Tuesdays-Sundays, 8am-8pm.  639 Annette Street, at the corner of Annette and Durie, west of Runnymede Rd.  Monforte Dairy “cheese ladies”, Constance Dykun and Rachel Silva, have opened up their brand new local food market and café in the west end!  Chock full of farmers’ market local fare from Chocosol, DeFloured, St. John’s Bakery bread, and of course, Monforte Dairy cheeses, Crème Fraiche aims to showcase the local food talent in the city and province.  http://cremefraichemarket.com/about/

Evergreen Brick Works Sunday Marché , June 16 – November 3.  Sundays, 11am-3pm.  550 Bayview Ave.  Cost of food and drink on-site.  This new weekly artisan market initiative at Evergreen Brick Works is heating up this summer!  Every Sunday until November 3, EBW will be hosting a series of craft, art and food vendors bursting with personality and flavour.

Vendors include Jamie Kennedy Kitchen with their signature poutine with braised beef and aged cheddar, Caplansky’s Thunderin’ Thelma Food Truck with Caplansky’s signature deli foods (next appearance on July 14; see link for schedule details), Bagel House (hand-rolled, boiled in honey water, and baked in maple-fueled wood oven), local farmers (Murray’s Farm) and LOTS of local food producers – stay tuned for more details as EBW plans to showcase much more from the Quebec & Niagara regions!  http://ebw.evergreen.ca/whats-on/sunday-marche

Market 707, year-round.  Tuesday – Saturday 11am-7pm (May to September), Tuesday – Saturday 12pm-5pm (October to April).  707 Dundas Street West by Bathurst St.  Brought to us by the Scadding Court Community Centre, the Market 707 project engages the foodie community with street food and market vendors on a day-to-day basis (vendors are housed in refurbished shipping containers!), fun pop-up market events, global flavours, arts, and more!  The market project ties into two of the community centre’s areas of focus: food access and security and community and social development.  http://www.scaddingcourt.org/market_707

Nathan Phillips Square ‘Fresh Wednesdays’ Farmers’ Market, June 2 – October 13.  Wednesdays, 8am-2:30pm.  100 Queen Street West at Bay St. in downtown Toronto by Old City Hall and The Eaton Centre.

North York Civic Centre Farmers’ Market, May 30 – October 31.  Thursdays, 8am-2:30pm.  5100 Yonge Street, just north of Elmwood Avenue.  The farmers’ market, with its vast array of baked goods, fruits, vegetables, meats, cheeses, and more, takes place outdoors at Mel Lastman Square.

Pedestrian Sundays at Kensington Market, July 28.  12pm-7pm.  Kensington Market (west of Spadina Ave., eats of Bellevue Ave., south of College Street, north of Dundas Street West).  Pedestrian Sundays are back for their 10th year!  Come out and enjoy the street festivals, market vendors, street food, and more on the last Sunday of the month – car and traffic free!  Streets are closed off to car traffic during Pedestrian Sunday hours.  http://www.pskensington.ca/
